Polar Express Party

We decided to have a Polar Express party this year and because of Will's nutcracker schedule December nights are already full. So we had our little party on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The kids invited some of their friends over and they came in their p.j.'s with a can of food each to donate to the food bank. We watched the polar express, drank hot chocolate, and ate way to much popcorn. At the end of the movie Santa arrived surprising us all. Each child sat on his lap and told him what they'd like for Christmas. Surprisingly there were no rambling lists, all of them only asked for one thing each. Santa gave them each a bell from his sleigh and then we all sang jingle bells to him. I love the magic of Christmas!Macie, Nils, Andrew, Gavin, Abigail, Jennifer, Lenaia

I loved watching their little faces as they sat on Santa's lap. Mason was the best of all he was so happy and jabbered for quite a while. This was Olivia's first time to sit on Santa's lap, she has always been petrified!

Jingle bells, jingle bells!

This sounds like such a fun idea, maybe when Lucy is a little bit older I will try to start that tradition in my family! It feels like forever since we have seen you guys, hopefully we will see you soon, maybe at Christmas!

How fun! I'll have to do that with Scooter. He would go nuts!
